This position is located in Seattle, WA.

Coordinates a twin study that is collecting data about environmental toxins, activity, and location, applying knowledge and skills that are specific to the study and that meet the mission and goals of the program under general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) and applicable senior research coordinator staff (supervisor).

The coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and monitoring research activities and subject participation, interpreting and applying study protocols, and conducting study visits.  The coordinator will also coordinate management of study data.  The coordinator will also assist with sample processing and shipping, and other tasks as necessary.

Required Qualifications: Two years of college level course work in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Assistant OR equivalent education/experience. Experience with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Access. Two years of demonstrated experience working in a research environment.  Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends when necessary. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license by time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with internet applications. Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team on multiple projects.  Demonstrated written/oral communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated experience with proofreading and editing documents.
