This position will support the Seattle Children’s Pediatric Partners in Care program as well as the Outcomes Assessment Program. The Pediatric Partners in Care Program strives to keep children out of the hospital, reduce the use of emergency services for non-emergent care, and prevent unplanned inpatient returns. The candidate will help assist in follow-up phone calls to these families administering the Pediatric Quality of Life Survey. The Outcomes Assessment Program is designed to routinely measure the outcomes of care provided to children admitted to the hospital. The candidate will assist in recruitment of families for the Pediatric Quality of Life Survey. The candidate will be housed at both the Center for Child Health, Behavior and Development as well as the hospital main campus. The candidate will assist with maintaining regulatory documents; assist the Research Manager in the planning of protocol implementation and site initiation visits and routine monitoring of both studies, ensure that research projects are conducted in compliance with federal regulations, institutional/departmental guidelines, and standards of Good Clinical Practice in support of the Research Manager.Skills/Eligibility:
Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies, Biology, or related scientific discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Minimum of one (1) year of related research experience. - Confirmed proficiency in a second language via successful completion of a language assessment may be required for certain departments.
