Snohomish Health District is currently accepting applications for 1 Full Time Training and Exercise Coordinator in our Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response (PHEPR) program. The Training and Exercise Coordinator will assist PHEPR staff with the design, conduct, and evaluation of emergency preparedness trainings and exercises for staff, regional LHJ’s, and the Region 1 Healthcare Coalition. The Coordinator will provide assistance in the annual update and revision of agency response plans. The Coordinator will also help determine areas of agency plans that agency staff need to be trained on. The Coordinator will provide support for evacuation and staff safety planning, and participation in the agency Safety Committee.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years’ experience in training support with at least one (1) year experience in emergency management or public health OR any combination of education and experience that demonstrates competency.
