This position will asses the effectiveness of activities associated with reducing Zika exposure and related birth defects and inform process and program improvement. Incumbent will asses the effectiveness of activities and/or interventions in general around the referral to services of all birth defects. The position will assist with on-call and outbreak activities associated with Zika virus for the Infectious Disease Epidemiology Bureau and assist with investigations and interviews of confirmed Zika cases. On-call services will be provided, in general for EHEB, two days a month. The position will also help write and submit interim and annual reports to the CDC as part of the cooperative agreement with the New Mexico Birth Defects and Prevention Program. THIS POSTING WILL BE USED TO CONDUCT ONGOING RECRUITMENT AND WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED. This position is a Pay Band 75.
