We’re pleased to share this announcement of our 2018 Programmer Analyst training program at the Kaiser Permanente’s Division of Research (DOR) in Oakland, California. This program is designed to identify promising programmer analyst trainees and to provide them with skills and experience to begin careers as research programmer analysts. Paid trainee positions, including benefits, are available to candidates who have recently completed a master’s degree program in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Statistics or related fields. Positions begin with a 6 month training period and follow with an option for successful trainees to continue their role at the end of their training program. We plan for the trainees to start work at the Division of Research in June 2018.
The goals of this program include: 1) Developing trainees’ skills in programming and analysis techniques for research projects, 2) Providing opportunities for trainees to contribute to epidemiologic and health research studies and 3) Helping successful trainees prepare for related careers at the DOR and Kaiser Permanente.
We will accept applications starting now through January 14, 2018 for the July - December 2018 program.
