The Latino Center for Health has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time (75%) Research Coordinator. The Latino Center for Health is housed within the Department of Health Services in the School of Public Health, and works across campus to promote research for the health and well-being of Latinos through community-engaged research. This position will coordinate research and administrative operations for the Center, reporting to the Research Director and receiving direction from the LCH Directors.

  • Two years of experience in research, health or social services administration
  • Advanced skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with budgeting and reimbursement processes
  • Skill in balancing multiple demands simultaneously under time constraints
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, particularly in the context of collaborating with and coordinating a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills including independently managing multiple tasks while ensuring attention to detail, accuracy, and quality results
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods
