The Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado invites applications for a tenure track faculty position with a focus on our National Environmental Health, Science & Protection Accreditation Council (EHAC) accredited Environmental Health Undergraduate Program.


Applicants must have earned a doctoral degree or equivalent in environmental health, environmental engineering, public health, or a closely related field. Candidates nearing completion of a doctorate program (ABD) may be considered; degree must be earned by start date. This position will be expected to contribute significantly to teaching undergraduate students in Environmental Health. Successful candidates must have demonstrated teaching experience in relevant coursework such as environmental health management (law), water quality, food safety, waste management, occupational health, occupational safety, air quality, and environmental health laboratory (use of instruments to obtain and analyze pertinent environmental samples). Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained certification as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) or candidates who can commit to obtain certification within two years of hire.
