The Alaska Division of Public Health is now recruiting for the Lead Tobacco Prevention and Control Program Evaluator (Epidemiology Specialist II).
This position in the Division of Public Health, Tobacco Prevention and Control Program will be the recognized expert in epidemiology and evaluation as related to tobacco prevention and control efforts. The position is responsible for planning and overseeing tobacco-related evaluation and surveillance activities at the local and state level. Using sound epidemiologic and evaluation methodologies, the incumbent will work with staff, grantees, and partners to evaluate and improve tobacco prevention and control programmatic efforts to reduce tobacco’s impact in Alaska and improve the public’s health.
