Evaluates, monitors and enforces regulations for: residential or commercial sewage, public water systems, food service establishments, solid waste sites, new or existing building sites, wells, and public schools to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in major science field preferably with emphasis on environmental and/or public health. EHS I: requires only the degree. EHS II: the degree plus two years’ experience in environmental health position. EHS III: the degree plus four years’ experience in environmental health position. A Master’s Degree in environmental or public health may be substituted for two years’ experience if the applicant demonstrates all knowledge and abilities required. Must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License with good driving record. DOL Certification for On-Site Septic is preferred.How to Apply:
