Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 201800261) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary; or to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Biochemistry or related disciplines with at least 3 years’ work experience. Applicants should be responsible, mature, organized, and attentive to detail, with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese/Cantonese. Those with less experience may be appointed as Research Assistant I/II. The appointee will work on a large population-based cohort with over 46,000 participants in 20,000 households and be primarily responsible for project management. He/She will also assist in field work and participant recruitment; assist in the preparation of publications and reports; and perform general administrative duties and any other duties as assigned.
