About Atrius Health
Atrius Health, an innovative nonprofit healthcare leader, delivers an effective system of connected care for more than 720,000 adult and pediatric patients in eastern and central Massachusetts. With $2 Billion in revenue, 32 clinical locations, more than 50 specialties, 825 physicians, 6800 employees and 75% of our gross revenue based on value based contracts, we are a national leader in delivering a system of high quality, patient centered, coordinated care to our patients. In addition, we are firmly committed to the practice of prevention as the best form of treatment. Our practices-- including Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, Dedham Medical Associates, Granite Medical Group, PMG Physician Associates-- and our home health and hospice subsidiary, VNA Care-- have a rich history of providing quality care for patients in their communities. Building on our long and proud history of high quality, patient centered care we are constantly driving innovation in care delivery. We use advanced analytics capabilities, machine learning/AI, natural language processing, and innovative programs (i.e. telehealth, e-consultations, Care in Place) and strategically collaborate with hospital partners, community specialists and skilled nursing facilities, to provide superior coordinated care at a lower cost.
This fellowship is intended to be a pathway to share our philosophy and best practices in delivering value-based care while committed to train and inspire the next generation of healthcare leaders. The Atrius Health Administrative Fellowship is a one-year, project-based program that provides future healthcare executives with opportunities to gain an in-depth understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations. While the program is not rotational, it is designed to expose fellows to all major aspects of ambulatory administration through executive leadership meetings, committee meetings, informational interviews and project work.
Fellows will lead and participate in high impact operational and business-oriented projects. Projects are selected in alignment with fellow’s interest and organizational priorities. Some of the project areas are but not limited to: Patient Care Operations, Clinical Informatics and Healthcare Data Analytics, Performance Improvement, Quality, Safety, Patient Experience, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Business Development, Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, and Legal.
