Research and consulting assistant for small, dynamic San Francisco-based biostatistics and epidemiology group. Will review medical records, perform analyses, and assist in the preparation of research articles and consulting reports. Attention to detail very important. Must be completely fluent in written and spoken English.
We research life expectancy and related topics using survival analysis and epidemiological methods. Our consulting is in the litigation (court) context. We give expert opinion on life expectancy.
Preference will be given to applicants with a master’s degree in public health, statistics, biostatistics or epidemiology, and those with strong knowledge of MS Word/Excel and experience with statistical programming using SAS or R. We welcome applicants who are currently in a graduate program (MPH, MS/MA, or PhD). Competitive salary.
