Viral Hepatitis Program Lead – Project Program Manager III

The Viral Hepatitis Program Lead will be a subject matter expert (SME) that directs and oversees surveillance, case and outbreak investigation, response, and prevention activities, and grant activities related to viral hepatitis. The Program Lead (SME) supervises disease investigators, including Public Health Nurses (PHN) and Disease Research and Intervention Specialists (DRIS) and is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and quality of communicable disease investigation and response activities. This position is also responsible for development of Section corresponding investigation and response protocols, internal and external communications, identification of funding opportunities and grant oversight, and administrative duties as assigned.  This position works closely with the Section’s Analytics and Informatics Team’s epidemiologists to ensure that epidemiologic data is collected, managed, analyzed, and reported to optimally support the Section’s mission.
