Capstone

A capstone is a culminating class or scholarly project often done in conjunction with or on behalf of a community-based agency.  Most notably, the Public Health Major, requires seniors to engage in a 2-quarter capstone course where students bring together much of the competencies and skills acquired during their time in the Major and college.  A few SPH graduate programs may also require a capstone or students may elect to substitute a traditional thesis for a capstone.
