Dr Davis' research interests focus on pharmacogenomics. He is currently involved in pharmacogenomic studies to assess the genetic determinants of response to Metformin among Type II diabetics, and of response to Herceptin and risk for cardiotoxicity amongwomen with invasive breast cancer. He is also interested in studies of genetic determinants of response to vaccines, both in regards to safety and efficacy. His other research interests include a large multi-HMO study of the safety of medication use during pregnancy and infant outcomes.
