Information on the 2009 H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu) Outbreak

In April 2009, cases of a new human transmissible H1N1 (swine flu) virus were reported in Mexico and the United States. Since then, new cases have been identified in many other countries. The World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, and other health agencies are monitoring the situation closely.
