On-line Poster Abstract Submission

Abstracts for poster presentations are now being accepted for the 3rd Western MCH Epidemiology Conference to be held in Portland, OR on May 12-13, 2005.

Poster Presentation

All posters will be presented during a poster/networking/discussion reception to be held on Thursday, May 12, between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. Presenters are expected to remain by their poster board for the majority of this time period so conference participants can discuss work with presenter. The poster boards measure 4 feet by 6 feet. Posters are expected to illustrate presenter’s recent work using graphs, photographs, charts and text.

Abstracts

Abstracts must be limited to 250 words. Abstracts should be organized as follows:
Title
Authors
Affiliations
Background
Methods
Results
Conclusions
Public Health Implications

Abstracts will be evaluated on the substance and clarity of the content, and on the relevance and timeliness of the information relative to maternal and child health public health practice and epidemiology.

Abstracts should be submitted on-line in the form of a WORD file attachment.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically by MARCH 1, 2005 to Trudy San Jose White at sanjose@u.washington.edu in order to be considered.
