Study Abroad

Once admitted to the major, up to 5 credits earned through a structured, public health-related study abroad program may count toward the 20 credits required in Public Health Electives. Examples of structured study abroad programs are:

Additionally, students admitted to the major may independently organize their own study abroad experience. In this situation, you will want to ensure that you can receive University credit for your experience abroad. In all cases, students will need to consult a Public Health Adviser and complete the Public Health Course Substitution Form for elective, selective, or social and behavioral sciences breadth requirement approval.
