Program Overview
This fellowship is intended to be a pathway to share our philosophy and best practices in delivering value-based care while committed to train and inspire the next generation of healthcare leaders. The Atrius Health Administrative Fellowship is a one-year, project-based program that provides future healthcare executives with opportunities to gain an in-depth understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations. While the program is not rotational, it is designed to expose fellows to all major aspects of ambulatory administration through executive leadership meetings, committee meetings, informational interviews and project work.
Fellows will lead and participate in high impact operational and business-oriented projects. Projects are selected in alignment with fellow’s interest and organizational priorities. Some of the project areas are but not limited to: Patient Care Operations, Clinical Informatics and Healthcare Data Analytics, Performance Improvement, Quality, Safety, Patient Experience, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Business Development, Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, and Legal.

Recruitment timeline
Atrius Health is participating in the National Council on Administrative Fellowships (NCAF) and has agreed to follow the guidelines outlined in the Code of Good Practice. Application timeline for the 2019-2020 cycle is:
 Application Deadline: October 1, 2018
 On-site Interview: Early November, 2018
 Initial offer date: November 12, 2018
 Fellowship begins: July 2019

Program Requirements
To be considered for the fellowship, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
 MBA, MHA, MPH, MPA or related degree from a U.S. based university required. Graduate program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) preferred.
 Prior practical healthcare work experience (internships count as experience). Demonstration of community involvement, and participation in professional association(s) strongly preferred.
 Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States (we do not sponsor work visas).
