Early Learning Home Visiting Director - El Centro de la Raza
Oversees, administers, supervises and coordinates the following component areas and their respective budgets: Parent Child Home Program (PCHP), Parent Child Home Program King County Expansion, Parents as Teachers (PAT), Parent as Teachers BSK – Best Start for Kids, Infant Mortality Prevention – BSK Best Start for Kids , and future related program expansions. Participates as a member of El Centro de la Raza’s Leadership Team. Manages and develops department budget.
- Ensures that contract requirements are being adhered to including billings, reports, income eligibility, and documentation for all contracts.
- Ensures participating children’s developmental objectives are met for the appropriate age groups.
- Lead supervisors in age appropriate curriculm development, lesson planning, and measuring fine motor skills.
- Responsible for all aspects of administrative and financial management of the Department.

- Coordinates weekly meetings with staff in each component area.
- Provides case consultation to staff on client needs and situations as needed.
- Conducts annual evaluations and disciplines as necessary.
- Enforces organization policies and protocals.
- Attends monthly coalition meetings.
- Works with grants writer to expand funding and programming.
- Attends bi-weekly technical meetings with Executive Director.
- Monitors expense reports, and prepares monthly and quarterly expense reports.
- Ensure monthly program reports, board reports, United Way, BSK and CSBG reports are completed and submitted by deadlines.
- Quality – control systems in place for home visiting.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential minimum skills, education, and experience:
- A. degree in Early Child Development, a minimum of 45 credits in supervision and development, and/or a minimum of 10 years of strong administrative/management background in early learning and non-profit management.
- Knowledgeable of the fours domains for early learing childhood development, physical, cognative, social, emotional, and behavioral.
- Proficiency in Spanish/English both orally and in writing.
- Experience in the private non-profit sector – government standards.
- Knowledgable in Humans Resources Law
- Familiarity with Federal and State grants and foundation practices.
- Experience with personnel supervision.
- Ability to understand overall agency operations.
- Excellent computer skills, including excel.
Additional Preferences and Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop and expand programs and systems.
- Masters in Early Learning.
