The Position: The College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville invites nominations and applications for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Exercise Science in the Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Establish a research agenda capable of securing external funding
2) Teach graduate and undergraduate classes in Exercise Science
3) Supervise theses, dissertations, and honors projects
4) Mentor/advise both undergraduate and graduate students
5) Provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession


Required Qualifications:
1) Earned doctorate from an accredited institution in Exercise Science or closely related field
2) Evidence of refereed publications and presentations
3) Evidence of effective teaching
Preferred Qualifications:
1) Post-doctoral or related experience
2) Potential to secure external funding
3) Teaching experience at the collegiate level
