We seek three outstanding candidates for Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate Professors (Non-tenure track) in our Undergraduate Program in Public Health to join a collaborative team of faculty who are committed to the development and implementation of our rapidly growing program with: 
• an earned doctorate degree in a public health discipline or a related field
• a record of/potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level
• a record of/potential for research/scholarship and service

The Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree provides students with the skills necessary to understand the complex factors that influence the health of individuals, families, communities, and populations and to take a public health approach to addressing these factors to improve health outcomes for both individuals and societies.

These faculty members will have a primary focus on teaching, but should also make proportionate contributions to the scholarship and service mission of the SPHHP. They will contribute to the program with an expected teaching load of three courses (9-12 credit hours) per semester. Faculty will be assigned to a “home department” in one of SPHHP’s five academic departments, based on their area of expertise. These non-tenure track, academic year positions are New York State funded. The clinical assistant/associate professors receive renewable, multi-year contracts.
