Inspections Program Supervisor - Multnomah County Health Department

The Inspections Program Supervisor provides leadership, conceptual development, resource acquisition and allocation, and general oversight of EHS’ Inspections Office unit, and the administrative, financial, business process and technology systems for the Inspections unit overall. The Inspections Program Supervisor is part of the EH Leadership Team (EHLT) and is responsible for being a part of a team that make EHS systems and budget decisions in congruence with the Public Health Strategic Plan.
As the Inspections Program Supervisor you will:
- Manage multiple business and finance processes related to the county’s licensing and enforcement activities including restaurants, mobile units, childcare facilities, pools, tourist and travel, corrections, Job Corps, vending, recreational parks, and drinking water systems.
- Supervise Office Assistants who support the licensing and enforcement activities of facilities.
- Represent EHS program interests working with business partners, including Department and county Business Services groups, external governmental agencies, business groups, private organizations, and the public, ensuring the delegated work for State of Oregon and other funders meets county standards for business operations as well as contractual requirements.
- Plan and design program services to meet the current and future needs of the Program in serving the community of licensed operators.
