The Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program for Graduate Students supports the mission of helping people get the education they need to do the things they want in life. This scholarship was established for students who will be enrolled at least half-time in postsecondary graduate study at an accredited graduate college or university in the United States for the entire 2020-2021 academic year. Over the past two years, eight incredible current and future graduate students have been awarded with $20,000 each for their graduate or professional degree.

Four (4) awards of $20,000 will be granted.  One award will be granted to students in each of the following fields of major:

• Business
• Law
• Medical/Dental
• Other graduate field of study

Eligibility

• Be a United States citizen or permanent resident of the United States, Puerto Rico, or the District of Columbia
• Be a currently enrolled college senior, a prospective graduate student, or currently enrolled at postsecondary graduate school and will be enrolled in graduate study at least half time at an accredited graduate college or university in the United States for the entire 2020-2021 academic year
• Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)
• Demonstrate good moral character
• Permit release of information to Sallie Mae Bank for publicity and other marketing purposes
