- Durango, CO position resides in the Southern Colorado Service Unit
- Santa Fe, NM position resides in the Santa Fe Service Unit
- Taos, NM position resides in the Taos-Picuris Service Unit
All positions are within the Albuquerque Area, IHS, Office of Environmental Health and Engineering, Division of Environmental Health Services and provide a broad scope of environmental health services while managing and implementing a comprehensive environmental health program on assigned reservations.
Summary
Will be responsible for providing direct environmental health services in Water Quality, Waste Management, Food Protection, Safety Management, Institutional Environmental Health, Vector Control (rabies, Plague, Hantavirus, etc.), Community lnjury Prevention, and Emergency Management for assigned tribes within the Albuquerque Area. May provide environmental health technical advice and buy-back services to 638 Contract Tribes.
