Description:

 This position will support Public Health-Seattle and King County’s Emergency Preparedness and Response Program by maintaining member information in the Community Communication Network database, conducting outreach to language-specific groups and leaders to expand the network, participating in planning to improve ability to reach limited English speakers with emergency messaging, attending events hosted by Public Health and outside organizations, planning and facilitating meetings to support emergency response teams, providing logistical support and note-taking, assisting and planning and participating in emergency drills, exercises, and real-world responses, conducting outreach to recruit medial volunteers and sites where volunteers deliver medical care in the community, serving as the public face of the Public Health Reserve Corps and managing new volunteer orientations, communications, processing volunteer applications, and maintaining records.
