Global WACh brings together expertise in maternal health from the Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology, neonatal and child health expertise from the Department of Pediatrics, and vast experience working in infectious disease, health metrics and evaluation, education, clinical research, and service delivery within the Department of Global Health.  These disciplines combine under a methodology that views women, children, and adolescents as three populations interconnected along a shared life course.

 

  • This position is currently funded for six months, with the opportunity for extension dependent on funding. We seek an individual dedicated to excellence in research programs, committed to public health and invested in social justice, equity and inclusiveness. 
  • This position plays a key role in the coordination and management of research activities, including regular communication with investigators and project staff based in Seattle and international sites.
  • This position will support the operational activities of the projects, including but not limited to: developing and revising standard operating procedures and database systems, conducting data quality monitoring, generating progress reports, and responding to staff and leadership inquiries regarding study procedures. This position requires the ability to compile and synthesize information from the literature and technical discussions to provide input on study design and methods most appropriate for a given project, as well as develop conference abstracts and presentations on study objectives and results.
