This position requires a solid understanding of applied biostatistics, epidemiologic research methods, and interest in data coordinating center operations.   The person in this position will need to have a high degree of organizational ability, interest in working in varying subject areas, and strong analytic skills.

The biostatistician works under the direction of senior staff to complete analysis of clinical data and contribute to the writing and submission of manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals.  The biostatistician will collaborate with clinical and biostatistical investigators towards this goal.  The biostatistician will become familiar with the science and use appropriate statistical methods to address the research questions.  The biostatistician will analyze the data and provide the results to the facilitator.  Analysis may be completed in a statistical package of choice; code should be well documented and results need to be reproducible.  The biostatistician will have an opportunity to contribute to the writing of the manuscripts.
