Epidemiologist II - Hawaii State Department of Health
Description:
Exempt, Permanent, Full-Time, Non-Civil Service Appointment in the Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Division of the Hawaii State Department of Health. This position is assigned to the Surveillance, Evaluation and Epidemiology Office (SEEO), under the supervision of the SEEO Epidemiologist. This position will provide technical assistance to the Division staff regarding needs assessment, survey instrument design, analysis and interpretation of data, and program evaluation strategies.
The position will, as needed, support grant development, conduct data analysis and provide guidance to support funding initiatives. Finally, this position will have primary responsibility for staffing and serving on the Editorial Board of the Hawaii Journal of Health and Social Welfare.
