Description:

Research Coordination

  • Call assigned COVID positive cases, and conduct in-depth interviews using call scripts and protocols; simultaneously enter call data into RedCap
  • Follow-up with contacts of cases, using call scripts and protocols
  • Follow-up on peripheral requests with their cases/contacts to make sure their requests for information have been met or whether additional referrals are needed
  • Coordinate testing of contacts and coordinate with the testing team to conduct on-site testing events
  • Coordinate referrals for support services to appropriate agencies.

    Data Collection and Administrative
  • Interact with multiple platforms like RedCap, Mosio, and Dynamics
  • Document challenges and brings to team during debrief; resolves accordingly
  • Strict adherence to client confidentiality and handling of PHI (like notes taken, and other communication)
  • Participation in data collection and quality improvement activities specific to the workplace testing project
  • Facilitate grocery services
  • Facilitate access to interpretation services as needed
    Other duties as required

 

Skills/Eligibility:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Science, or a related field and at least one year experience to include:

  • Ability to establish rapport with diverse groups of people in a very brief amount of time.
  • Ability to work with communities of people with varied lived experiences in a non-judgmental manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information at all times.
  • Carry out assignments and responsibilities reliably in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to multiple local work locations.
  • Ability to comprehend complex information and adapt to changing guidance.  In order to successfully complete training, new employees must pass a graded assessment.

    Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.

  • Previous COVID-related work
  • Experience working in or with a local health department
  • Fluency in English is required; bilingual Spanish-English language skills are preferred
