Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Content, Liza Schattenkerk, the Social Media Coordinator will help drive the social media strategy and editorial program forward by creating, editing and posting smart and engaging mixed-media content.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Update and maintain the social media calendar
  • Manage the creation, content and posting of our social media programming
  • Partner with content team to develop and execute social media campaigns to support brand initiatives
  • Continuously monitor and analyze the effectiveness of our social tactics and strategy, and pivot to improve our efforts as necessary
Skills/Eligibility:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in communications, marketing, English or a related field
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a social media role
  • An understanding of social media strategy and trends
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and tracking analytics for each
  • Exceptional writing and grammar skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented
  • A passion for transforming lives and mission driven work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in Spanish
