Description:

This Healthcare Response for Outpatient Clinics Program Lead/SME will work in Project /Program Manager (PPM) III position. This PPM III is a SDA/TLT position that is responsible for a broad range of activities including ensuring the timeliness and quality of communicable disease investigation and response activities, development and updating of protocols, training and development of investigation staff, internal and external communications, identification of funding opportunities and grant oversight, and administrative duties as assigned.  The focus area for this PPM III Lead/SME role is oversight of surveillance, case and facility outbreak investigations, infection control and other response and prevention activities, and grant activities related to a broad range of outpatient healthcare settings including outpatient clinics, dialysis facilities, home health and dental clinics.

This PPM III supervises multidisciplinary staff.   This position reports to the Public Health Services Supervisor (PHSS) for COVID-19 healthcare response and works collaboratively with the Section’s other Program Leads, Program Managers, Medical Epidemiologists, Analytics and Informatics Team, Immunization Team, and Administration Team. This position provides back-up coverage to other Team Lead staff on communicable disease investigation and response activities as needed and participates in after-hours call coverage (approximately 6 to 8 weeks per year).
