Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager (at the rank of Technical Manager/Assistant Technical Manager) in the School of Public Health (Ref: 502895) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in public health, psychology, statistics, social sciences, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ experience in project management. They must have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; strong leadership, management, interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills; the ability to multitask, work independently and in a team; excellent time management and analytical thinking. They should be highly motivated, dedicated, proactive, responsible, resourceful, collegial, and attentive to details. Experience in external relations, grant applications, and writing and publishing official documents is highly desirable. Certification in Professional Project Management (e.g. Project Management Professional, PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner), knowledge of workflow management systems, and a keen interest in population mental health would be advantages. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Project Manager.

The appointee will work on the FAMILY Cohort, which is a large population-based cohort with over 46,000 participants in 20,000 households. He/She will liaise with various external service vendors and internal stakeholders (e.g. finance, HR, PR team), supervise and train junior staff, and perform other duties as assigned.
