Description

The Department of Kinesiology and Community Health is searching for an outstanding candidate for a 9-month, open rank, non-tenure track appointment as a Teaching/Clinical Specialized Professor.  The candidate will be expected to teach and develop courses for graduate and undergraduate students, including advanced epidemiology coursework such as analytical epidemiology, applied epidemiology, principles of epidemiology, and programming languages such as R, SAS, Stata, or others. The candidate may also be assigned other classes in the Kinesiology and Community Health curriculum.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a master’s or doctoral degree in epidemiology or a related field.  Candidates with public health training (MPH, MSPH, PhD from a public health school/program) and with strong a public health background are preferred.  A record of teaching and/or clinical experience is desired.  Experience collaborating with communities on public health initiatives is also desirable.
