Role Description
AmeriCorps Food Educators serving with Coupeville Farm to School will be partnering with the Coupeville School District and South Whidbey Good Cheer to teach kids hands-on gardening and cooking. Food Educators will be completing their service in school, with students, during the school day. Service runs from September 1st to July 15th. Food educators will be serving under the supervision of the School Garden Coordinator.
Service Description
§ Lead gardening lessons and cooking lessons.
§ Lead out of school programming and cooking clubs
§ Support special events for families
§ Support social media and website for program
§ Maintain and improve school gardens
§ Work directly with the Coupeville School District and South Whidbey Good Cheer
