General Position Summary: The Retail and Food Service Partnership Coordinator is the primary point of contact for many of our food bank agencies and retail food service partners. Position responsibilities include customer service, training, data-entry and data manipulation, and administrative support. Essential

Functions/Major Responsibilities:
•Develops and maintains positive, professional relationships with partner donors andagencies.
•Represents Food Lifeline’s mission and values in meetings, trainings, and othersettings.
•Tracks and processes poundage reports each week. Escalates significant donor andagency issues to Program Manager.
•Manages calls from donors and agencies, resolves requests, and updates records asneeded. Supports the team when they’re unavailable by addressing urgent agency ordonor needs.
•Trains and supports store personnel and partner agencies in Grocery Rescue policies.Sets expectations for high-quality food donations, including adherence to food safetyrules and corporate donation policies.
•Maintains integrity of all partner-related data, including records of donations andreceipts submitted by member agencies and other internal reports.
•Maintains accuracy of all program-related documentation and training materials.Provides agencies and donors with helpful up-to-date guidance.
•Keeps Agency Relations and Network Development staff apprised of relevant agencyupdates.

Secondary Functions:
•Maintains awareness and shares up-to-date food safety guidelines that support foodbank best practices.
•Tracks and maintains programmatic equipment and supply levels.
•Assists with the day-to-day supervision, ongoing training, and appreciation of programvolunteers.
•Works with other Food Lifeline departments and supports other organization needs asrequired.
•Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills:
•Ability to provide excellent customer service.

•Attention to detail and accuracy.

•Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (2016 or Office365).

Education, Experience and other Qualifications:
•Valid WA State driver’s license and an insurable driving record.•Ability to obtain Washington State food handler’s permit within 30 days of hire.•Up-to-date understanding of food safety regulations, grocery retail or foodservice experience preferred.•Experience using SmartSheet or other data management platforms preferred.

Job Conditions:
Work is performed in an office setting with adequate lighting, heating, and ventilation. Work is also occasionally performed in a grocery/retail setting. Position requires patience and tact while managing multiple tasks and interacting with a variety of people. Occasional weekend hours (2-3 times per year) related to special events or seasonal activities.

Physical Demands:
Position requires extended periods of sitting, use of desktop computer terminal, and the ability to routinely lift and carry up to 10 pounds. Requires extensive keyboarding with repetitive wrist and hand movements and prolonged periods of sitting. Frequent talking and listening including phone conversations. Requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle in a variety of road and traffic conditions.
