Description:

The Department of Health Systems and Population Health has an excellent opportunity for a temporary part-time research study interviewer to work for the Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) one of 26 Prevention Research Centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). HPRC conducts community-based research that promotes the health and well-being of middle-aged and older adults, particularly those with lower incomes and in ethnic/cultural minority populations most at risk of health disparities. This position will provide professional skills and input for the CDC-SIP Validity & Reliability of the Redesigned National Health Interview Survey study, which will evaluate the validity and reliability of cancer screening questions.

Work Location:

This position will work remotely, with occasional, as-needed, in-person meetings at the Hans Rosling Center for Population Health located on the University of Washington’s Seattle campus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Survey administration (70%)
  • Scheduling phone interviews (15%)
  • Web survey reminder calls (10%)
  • Participant contact tracking (5%)
