A successful candidate for this role will be supporting Sage’s contribution to the NIH-funded All of Us Research Program and related projects. Note that this position includes domestic travel.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist the biomedical research community in complying with ethical research standards, responsible data governance, and trustworthy privacy practices

  • Work with project stakeholders (e.g., patient associations, researchers, program sponsors, and federal policymakers) to apply rigorous standards in the collection, management, and dissemination of biomedical assets (e.g., data, materials, analyses, and/or tools) within research communities

  • Contribute to and maintain strong governance policies, procedures, and documentation

  • Contribute to audits and review of governance controls on projects

  • Stay current in applicable rules, regulations, and governance best practices that support responsible and ethical research 

  • Assess and/or apply recommendations to enhance governance products, services, and program compliance with applicable rules and regulations

  • Execute on individual goals and objectives established by Leadership

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree, with a preferred emphasis on health/data sciences, public health, health policy, or health information management. Years of relevant professional experience may also be substituted for education.

  • Have 3 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Understand principles pertaining to research ethics and/or privacy regulations

  • Possess solid digital literacy skills and experience with databases, project management, and/or collaboration tools

  • Have experience working with diverse audiences including researchers, data scientists, designers, engineers, program sponsors, and/or the public

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and are detail oriented

  • Work best in a collaborative environment, are open to new perspectives and ideas, and are willing to learn

  • Work well under pressure and adapt well to shifting priorities

  • Professional certification in privacy (ex. CIPP-US), IRB (ex. CIP), and/or project management (ex. PMP) a plus, not required

This is an associate level position, with a compensation range of $58,262 - 87,394. Actual compensation is dependent upon experience.
