The Department of Health Systems and Population Health (HSPoP) has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Graduate Program and Career Advisor to join their team.

This position is part of a larger team supporting the Interdisciplinary Program in Health Management and Informatics (IHMI). This position works to implement a comprehensive set of career and professional development activities for the Master of Health Administration program, in addition to nurturing participating students into successful internship and mentor relationships. The Graduate Program and Career Advisor also serves as the academic advisor for the in-residence MHA program. In collaboration with the Program’s faculty leadership, the Graduate Program and Career Advisor works to connect students to alumni, mentors and professionals in the regional healthcare community. This position will balance direction coming from multiple leadership sources while reporting to the Senior Graduate Program and Career Advisor in the Interdisciplinary Program in Health Management and Informatics.

This position will work towards diversity goals related to admissions and student support and will be expected to know and work toward the strategic goals of the Program, the Department and the School of Public Health. Additionally, the Graduate Program and Career Advisor will use independent judgment in interpreting and applying the rules and regulations of the Program, HSPoP, and the University of Washington.
