Research Coordinator position, full time, open in Biomedical Engineering Research Center.
Duties include: Prepare IRB initial and annual renewal applications, modifications, reports and other regulatory documents, including recruitment materials, consent forms, HIPAA forms, assessment/survey instruments, waivers and screening tools. Internally track all IRB approval and expiration dates, ensure timely and accurate submission of renewals, modifications, and reports. Maintain regulatory records and documentation per established requirements. Communicate with IRB staff and compliance officers to address regulatory questions for study teams and off-site collaborators as needed; maintain communications with PIs and research teams to ensure compliance with approved protocols and timely reports. Perform literature reviews, assist in grant proposal, manuscripts for publication and presentation, and reports. Develop content for website and newsletters.
Required: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field, demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, highly organized and work independently as part of a collaborative team, 2+ years experience with IRB and research coordination. U.S. Citizenship required. EOE.
Salary range: $43-53K+/year depending on qualifications and experience. Health & retirement benefits; transit benefit; free parking.
