Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is seeking to fill a Staff Professional position in our Seattle, WA office location.
The ideal candidate will have an interest or experience in IH, H&S and/or environmental assessment related work in a fast-paced environment with a strong technical support team.
This position will conduct sampling, monitoring, surveys, and evaluations to identify potential occupational health hazards caused by exposure to noise, chemicals, confined spaces, blood-borne pathogens, ventilation, and other physical and biological agents, using knowledge of Industrial Hygiene principles, concepts, and practices. A variety of Industrial Hygiene monitoring, sampling, and analytical equipment and instruments to evaluate potential exposures and maintain detailed records of sampling activities will be used. The ability to recognize hazards associated with potential exposures harmful agents, chemical and physical hazards form workplace conditions. The position will require working extended periods of time sampling/monitoring in the field potentially while wearing required respiratory protection.
Additional duties, to a lesser extent, will include groundwater and soil sampling, field oversight of monitoring well installation and other project subcontractors, site remediation oversight, technical data database input and evaluation, technical reporting, work plan generation and task management.
The position may require project assignments dedicated to a local client facility as a seconded employee. Occasional overnight travel will be required to support other Antea®Group projects as necessary.
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): When required, in order to perform work duties, the employee will utilize the appropriate PPE such as hard hats, steel-toe shoes, respirator and safety glasses/goggles. The candidate must be able to wear SCBA and/or other required respiratory equipment for area of work.

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety and Occupational Health Science, or a related field
Minimum of 0-3 years of applicable experience
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrate skills using advanced features of Excel for data management
Safe driving record
Ability to work independently and self-directed
Ability to successfully pass a company-paid physical examination and drug screen
40 hour HAZWOPER OSHA certification a plus
Environmental compliance and/or Health & Safety experience is a plus
Working toward CSP, CIH, or other Health & Safety related accreditation a plus.
The ability to dive deep, deliver results, create action, think big, and own the process.
