The Snohomish Health District is currently accepting applications for 1 Full Time Emergency Management Specialist in our Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response (PHEPR) program. The Emergency Management Specialist will coordinate the Region 1 (R1) Healthcare Coalition. The members represent all areas of the healthcare system; from public health, hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, behavioral health, emergency management and EMS. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the Coalition is ready to respond to all hazards that may impact the healthcare systems within the Region. The incumbent will also be responsible for facilitating the drafting of plans, policies, and procedures around the coalition response and preparedness efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate Degree from an accredited institution in Emergency Management or closely related field and three (3) years’ of professional level experience with at least one (1) year experience in emergency management or public health OR any combination of education and experience that demonstrates competency
