Perform specialized technical fiscal analysis and financial reporting in support of the Partnership for Native Health. Activities include a variety of complex and varied fiscal administrative support functions such as analyzing and developing budgets for grants, contracts, state funds, and/or program funds, establishing and maintaining comprehensive fiscal recordkeeping systems, analyzing, establishing and maintaining cost center and/or self-sustaining accounts, maintaining professional fee records, and coordinating diverse unit-wide fiscal support functions such as payroll, travel reimbursement, purchasing and fiscal planning.
Support office functions by answering phones, responding to email, and routing mail as needed. This position is the first point of contact for visitors and others inquiring about policy, procedure, and research that is begin conducted. Assist with regular supply inventories and ordering of supplies.
Required Qualifications: Two years of experience at a level equivalent to Fiscal Specialist 1 AND 15 quarter hours OR 10 semester hours of college level accounting; OR equivalent education/experience.
Additional Requirements: Knowledge of accounting practices. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite products. Experience working with sensitive and confidential information. Occasional travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Evidence of strong interpersonal skills and competence communicating and working with health professionals, faculty members and researchers, and diverse groups within the general public. Experience working in a customer service setting. Higher education experience.
