DF/Net Research, Inc. is a contract research organization providing data management, statistical support, programming, and medical coding to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and non-profit institutions worldwide. In collaboration with our Canadian office, DF/Net Software, the company uses, sells, supports and develops the DataFax data management system.

DF/Net manages the data for several of the world’s top research organizations making a difference in global public health today. Our areas of work include HIV, leishmaniasis, hookworm, TB, malaria, Ebola, oncology, vision, and other areas of health care.


Responsible for providing direct support for Data Managers and managing and/or contributing to data management-related projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports study database set up, testing, validation, and documentation
  • Assists Data Managers with CRF creation, CRF review, and CRF annotation
  • Writes edit checks and reviews batch edit checks
  • Provides support in development of study data management documentation
  • Performs data entry and data cleaning tasks
  • Performs data entry quality assurance and sampling
  • Validates tables, listings, figures, and reports
  • Runs quality control reports and addresses data issues
  • Trains and mentors data validators
  • Manages studies under the direct supervision of a Data Manager
  • Assists the Data Managers with the study closeout process
  • Coordinates with the DF/Net Data Analytics team
  • Manages or contributes to other departmental projects as needed

Preferred Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least one year of experience with DataFax, clinical trial data, and/or research studies
  • Experience working in an office environment

Physical Conditions:

  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Repetitious computer usage
  • Regular office environment
