We are EnSafe, an employee-owned, global professional services firm.  We strive to provide cutting-edge, creative solutions for our clients.  We are currently accepting applications for a Health and Safety/Industrial Hygiene Specialist.  The position will be based out of our Nashville, TN office and will serve as a consultant to our clients to ensure compliance with state and federal health and safety regulations. 

Our ideal candidate will perform personal and area industrial hygiene surveys in various industries (aerospace, distribution, manufacturing, paper, etc.); conduct indoor air quality surveys; perform risk assessments that address the hazards of the process; monitor asbestos projects; assess noise exposure; recommend engineering and administrative controls; develop corporate health and safety plans;  assess confined space, lockout/tagout, and machine guarding programs; perform job hazards analyses; perform training on various OSHA topics, such as HAZCOM/GHS, powered industrial vehicles, lockout/tagout; and more.  We require a minimum of a BS in a health and safety discipline, work experience in the field or a recent internship (prefer in a consulting environment), good written and verbal communication skills, and a strong work ethic. The ability to obtain professional certifications in the future (CSP, CHMM or CIH) is also desired. This position includes local and domestic travel.
