The two-year Fellowship will provide support for selected Fellows to undertake a Master of Public Health at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), and attachments at respectively the U.S. National Academy of Medicine (NAM) and HKU School of Public Health.  During the two-year training, the Fellows will be spending two 3-month stays in Washington, D.C. to learn and work at the prestigious NAM and be assigned a faculty mentor who is a member of NAM. The Fellows will also undergo academic attachment at HKU School of Public Health, a leader in postgraduate and professional education and training in public health in Asia.


The Fellowship welcomes applications from early to mid-career scholars from all over the world, with particular attention to scholars in the Asia-Pacific region. Candidates should have completed their post-degree work two to ten years ago; attained a graduate degree and have a demonstrated interest in fields such as global health policy; governance; diplomacy; sustainable development; healthy cities; health equity; health systems and economics; or related areas. Closing date of applications for the 2019/20 cohort is 31 October 2018.
