HIV Surveillance Coordinator - Department of Health Epidemiology & Response Division

This position will coordinate state-wide Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) public health surveillance activities for people living with HIV infection in NM, the NM Department of Health, and other state and local agencies, HIV prevention and treatment providers, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This position will manage all aspects of day-to-day HIV surveillance operations, including conducting case investigations, reviewing and entering electronic and paper laboratory result data, and coordinating with HIV partner services. Incumbent will be responsible for data quality assurance, data analysis, and routine reporting. Ideal candidate will have two or more years of postgraduate experience in data collection, data management, and data analysis, with experience using SAS as well as experience with geocoding address level information and using geographic information system (GIS) to analyze and visually display data and writing epidemiologic reports and presenting results of data analyses to community members and HIV partner organizations.
