Funding Still Available for 2018–19 Student Projects
The Northwest Public Health Training Center at NWCPHP is still accepting applications to support students completing public health projects during the 2018–19 school year in Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and Oregon.
Applications are due by the end of the 2019 winter quarter. Eligible students will receive up to $3,500 each to help them defray living expenses during their hands-on training experience.
Funding is available for undergraduate juniors and seniors, graduate, and doctoral students enrolled in public health, psychology, sociology, and social work degree programs. Proposals will be evaluated based on public health practice focus, attention to underserved areas and populations, and feasibility.
