Fred Hutch’s pioneering work in bone marrow transplantation led to the development of immunotherapy, which harnesses the power of the immune system to treat cancer. A Post-Doctoral Research Fellow position is available in Dr. Wei Sun’s group at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The successful applicant will develop statistical/computational methods and software packages to study cancer omic data. Specific topics/application include, but not limited to biomarker identification for immunotherapy, tumor (immune) microenvironment, intra-tumor heterogeneity, high-throughput sequencing data analysis, high dimensional graphical model, and deep learning.
