Research Interests
Mohamed's research interests focus on advancing the Public Health 3.0 framework with an emphasis on equity-driven, community-based interventions. He is particularly interested in culturally responsive methods for addressing environmental health risks, such as lead, PFAS, and hazardous household materials. His work includes collaborations with both academic and community partners to investigate traditional health practices, utilize community-based participatory research (CBPR) methods, and build capacity among immigrant and refugee populations.
